When the Bible Becomes an Adventure for Our Children

I want our children to know that the Bible is full of stories about faith, courage, obedience, and God’s love. Those stories are not far away from us. They can come alive in ways our children can see, imagine, and enjoy.
That is one reason I created TruBlu Brotherz: Adventures Through the Bible. John and Jay-Jay step into Bible adventures like Noah’s Ark and Moses crossing the Red Sea. Through their journey, children can imagine being right there as these powerful stories unfold.
As a mom raising autistic children, I know how meaningful it is to see our children represented in the things they read and watch. Our boys deserve stories that welcome their curiosity, celebrate who they are, and give them room to explore. I wanted the TruBlu Brotherz to bring that kind of joy to a Bible adventure.
The story of Noah reminds us to trust God, even when the path ahead is hard to understand. Moses’ journey reminds us that God can make a way where there seems to be no way. Those lessons still speak to us today, and they are worth sharing with the next generation.
My hope is that families will enjoy these adventures together. Read with your children, talk about what they notice, and let their questions lead to meaningful conversations about faith. Every child connects with a story in their own way, and there is room for each child at the table.
Come explore TruBlu Brotherz: Adventures Through the Bible and join John and Jay-Jay on their journey.
